While many people are aware of the benefits of exercising on a regular basis, there are few people that are fortunate enough to be able to do so.

One of the best things that these people can do for the physical health is to start exercising in their spare time. Over time, such exercise regimens can even turn into full workouts that have designated times and sessions.

Push ups and sit ups are probably the most applicable exercise that a person can do when they have a few minutes around the house. These exercises don’t require any equipment and they can even be performed in the same jeans and t-shirt that you’re already wearing.

Since these workouts will usually be short and impromptu, it might be worth your while to get your for your money. This means that you should work extra hard when you do work out because there is no saying when your next work out will be.

One way that you can do this is by running in place for a minute or so before you start your workout. If you run at about 70% your full capacity you will have your blood pumping more for your workouts and you will be able to doe more sit ups or push ups in a short amount of time.

In addition, you can do more difficult sit ups by bending your legs at the hips and placing your calves on a piano bench, low couch or something of that sort. These exercise tips will be most effective if you will use them often and look for ways to bulk out your workouts.
