What do you want your body to be like in one year? How about in 3 months? Is it different than what you are right now? There’s an old proverb that says “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, then you’ll keep getting what you always got.” Meaning if you don’t change anything, nothing’s going to magically change on its own. If you want to become what you’ve always wanted, YOU have to do it. Follow these tips we give you, and you will be well on your way to a healthier and happier you.

Starting Tip #1.  Create a time and a space to exercise. Meaning set aside a certain block of time each day to spend only on exercise. During that time, go to your exercise space, whether it’s a room, a corner of a room, or a gym. When you do this, you put yourself in a position where you won’t get distracted, and you can develop a routine and a habit of exercising there for your block of time.

Starting Tip #2. If you don’t have any exercise equipment, get some. This doesn’t mean you can’t exercise with push-ups and sit-ups in the meantime, but your exercising will be greatly enhanced with some weights, jump ropes, pads, and anything else you’d like. I highly recommend always having a treadmill in your home. Its too easy to excuse yourself from running when the weather isn’t ideal. If you have a treadmill in your home, you’ll have no excuse, and will find it much easier to have the motivation to hop on it and run. (They don’t have to be expensive. With a set time and place and some equipment, you will be ready to start really exercising effectively. Next time we’ll take it a little further. Thanks for reading, come back for our next one. See ya next time!
